  3. violence in so and so. Let‚Äôs get it off the air and 
  4. out of the hair of the kids so it won‚Äôt be 
  5. destroying our families, and so on.‚Äù You hear this 
  6. all the time. I forget the name of the guy, but there 
  7. was a chap back in the ‚Äô40s who was brought to 
  8. testify in front of congress a couple of times over 
  9. the evils and the abject dangers posed to our 
  10. families and our societies of all the violence going 
  11. on in comic books. And that was just midstream. In 
  12. the 19th century there were people railing about 
  13. violence in the dime novels and cheap fiction and
